This dramatic play is set in Sungkyunkwan University during the Joseon geological era, revolving around the efforts and love stories of four juvenilities. When her younger brother comes down badly, Kim Yoon Hee puts down the school in his post masked as a boy in her despair to find out a agency to brook him, and goes supporters with Lee Sun Joon, highly rich and the heads of the work party, Corinthian Goo Yong Ha and the rebellious Moon Jae Shin.

Reviews respecting TVXQ member Micky Yoochun’s performace, has been much divided after the first airing of KBS 2TV’s Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Micky plays the role of the sole son of a literary household, one with perfect education, wealth, and looks.

Maybe it’s because of such character limits but his facial expressions were viewed as quite awkward. Various internet portal sites such as DC Inside left comments such as, “The way he talked was a bit clumsy,” and “Only the tone of his voice changed. There were no changes in his face expressions.”

On the contrary, many have also commented that his acting ‘exceeded expectations.’

Other viewers left comments saying, “It was good. He looked calm and comfortable, you couldn’t tell that he was a singer,” and “His acting is better than I thought. That’s what I was thinking while I was watching him.”

On the other hand, fellow castmate Park Min-young has been receiving flattery for her famed expression of her character’s beastly charisma, since she plays the role of a female dressed as a male.
